I’m 16, and a couple of weeks ago I started going to job interviews. I was born and live in Russia, so I only applied to Russian companies. Right away, I decided to “boost” my experience to 3 years. In Russia, that’s possible — it’s not considered fraud, the main thing is to be good at lying. I went through more than 15 interviews, and finally I got my first offer. But since the employment contract for minors is different, I couldn’t hide my real age. So I called the HR and said I was willing to work for less, just to get the job — but they turned me down.
